David has been in PC support since
the days of the Osborne
Suitcase and the TRS-80
computer. He was coding games in BASIC on the Osborne and the
TRS-80 as a child, eventually he progressed to the Apple ][, however found he
that
the Commodore 6502/68k
line was more suited to his purposes at the time. After going through a
few
Amigas and 512k
Macintosh's, David found a love for PCs and their myriad
hardware/software configurations that he found so lacking in the rest
of the
home computer world.
After high school, David decided to enlist in the US Army
to help defray the costs of college and after college David joined the
corporate world doing telephone support for a banking software company.
He quickly advanced to executive support for companies like GE
Capital and Commercial Finance, Tyco Corporation, Boeing Satellite
Systems, and more, due to his excellent technical skills and his
compassionate personality.
After moving to Los Angeles, CA for two years, David moved back
to New Haven, CT to be closer to his friends and family and to start
ShorelineSupport.
